Hello
as per attached images, since my last update of plugins in WordPress, windows shows that the ‘menu-editor’ js file is a trojan. The last few scans, including my backups, are showing the same alert. It is also labelled as ‘severe’.
I am looking for any advice on the matter please.
Fair to say I am fairly new at all of this. I have a test site only. Nothing is ‘live’.
ANY commentary on this will be appreciated.
regards
Adam
Hi Adam,
We are so sorry for the inconvenience you are having.
We have checked the content of ‘menu-editor.js’ file, but everything looks safe. Also, we have scanned the file using Internxt and VirusTotal, the report is clean.
Could you please try to remove the plugin from your device, do a full scan and try to reinstall it again?
Regards,
Abanob
thanks
I will do that and report back.
do give me a few days
Sure, please keep us updated 🙂
Regards,
Abanob
