ParticipantI bought WIZ to replace an outdated template. So I installed WIZ on an exisiting WordPress installation (where everything is already configured and all pages and posts are already stored in the database). However on that existing installation the demo import didn’t work very well – a lot of the WIZ demo content just remains white (although it can be seen on the visual composer!?, but it disappears when you switch to the normal view – is that a known issue?
1. So I installed WIZ on a fresh WordPress installation and there the import throwed some errors, but it worked – all content was imported. Is there a reason for that? I could only get the sample content to work on that fresh installation of WP.
2. How can I create these large submenu items like the one that is under “Features” in your demo website? I couldn’t figure it out myself.
3. The filter for the portfolios doens’t work in my WIZ installation. The portfolios are not rearranged, when I click on “Imaginary” “Creative” and so on. The links are dead…
What could be the reason for that? And can I change the portfolio categories to what I want? In my other templates (on the same server) sorting and renaming portfolios works just fine.
Thanks in advance!

KeymasterDear chreegy,
Thank you for your purchase and for giving the chance to help you :).

Maybe there are some conflicts between Wiz and the other installed blugins please open a ticket from here so we can check this issue.

You are right, some demos contain a useless pages like shortcodes and features pages so we began not to include these pages on our new demos and will update the existing demos soon.

Navigate to Appearance -> Menus then on “Features” menu item check enable “Enable Mega Menu”. This will enable the large menu.

ParticipantI found the trouble making plugin for the invisible content: “AddThis Sharing Buttons” plugin. So that one is solved. I deactivated it
Regarding the menu:
There is no option in appearance -> menus -> “menu item” called “Enable Mega Menu”. Does something have to be installed/activated for that? “Mega Menu” as a plugin is installed, but when I activate that it changes the navigation completely to a blue one…For the portfolio I will open up a ticket, this happened also in the fresh installation of WP.

Great, I added a task into our issue tracker to find a way to support “AddThis Sharing Buttons” plugin.

We didn’t use “Mega Main Menu” plugin on our demos. If you want to make your menu looks like our demo, Deactivate “Mega Main Menu” plugin and navigate to Appearance -> Menus and under your menu item you will find a check box to enable mega menu like the below image

Thanks,

ParticipantThank you! I disabled the “Mega Menu” plugin and now it works, the check box for “enabling the Mega Menu” in appearance > menus > “item” is now there. Solved! 🙂
Regarding the portfolio issue:
I have to deactivate the following plugin: “One Page Navigator for Visual Composer plugin” then it works. Strange ;-)!
And now my last problem:
I changed categories for my blog posts and portfolios, then I found out that I have to go to the corresponding pages to enable these new categories, so that they are shown in frontend. Fine. I havent had that behaviour in my othert templates before, but I figured it out ;-).The only problem that is now left is: I changed my blog categories and went to the grid blog page and enabled the new categories. But now the blog doesn’t show up as a grid anymore, although I have chosen “grid” within that leap plugin in the editor. Some of the settings within that leap plugin were translated. In my case the english “grid” was translated to the German word “Kacheln” maybe that’s the reason. I am running a German installation of WP.
Thanks in advance!

Thank you for pointing this issue. I’ve added it to our issue tracker.

Can I ask you please to open a ticket from here to check this?
