We are working on a development site using the mega menu feature in the Premium Addons plugin. This was working fine until version 4.10.59, at which point we started noticing a few odd behaviors:

    1. Some but not all mega menus stopped opening on click, even though they are configured to do so.

    2. Changes to the mega menu settings, like whether its enabled or not, seem to change on their own and do not always “stick” when we change and save them. I’ve confirmed that the server responds with 200 status to the admin-ajax.php POST request when saving.

    3. Changes to the order of the top level menu items in Appearance->Menus are not reflected on the site after saving.

Rolling the plugin back to 4.10.58 seems to resolve all but #3 above.

I don’t see any errors in the Network or Console tabs that would indicate there’s a server problem. The site is hosted at WP Engine.

I would prefer not to post a link to the development site publicly but am happy to provide that privately upon request.

We have not yet purchased this plugin, but plan to assuming we can work out these kinks.

There have been no problems on our site so far! Don’t worry; if tech support jumps on, they will have a solution in no time!

    Hi @mattw,

We are so sorry for any inconvenience you are having.

Our devs team would be more than glad to help, but could you please open a ticket on our support system through my.leap13.com/contact-support so we can give it a further look and see what is going there?

    Regards,
    Abanob

Opened a ticket and they had an easy fix: disable element caching for the Mega Menu widget.

    1. Select the Mega Menu widget in Elementor editor

    2. Advanced tab -> Cache Settings, set to Inactive

Thanks Leap13 team for your quick and helpful response.
