Hi there,
I didn’t find a way to create archive post with the Blog Addon from Premium Addon Pro. I see from the query tab that we can choose “posts” as source, but it’s impossible to choose something like archive.
The goal would be to create some archive from categories or tags, for example. Then, when I reach one of my category url, it would just show the posts within this category.
Is there a way to do this that I didn’t see ? If not, would it be something that could be added to this awesome addon ?Thank you so much

Hope you’re doing well today 🙂Unfortunately, this option is not available at the moment in Premium Addons, but it’s already on our to-do list.

<p style=”margin-bottom: 0cm;”>For my part, I have builded a “My news” page using the “Blog Posts Widget ” and I would like this page to always be used for each page of my blog, archive, search, category, etc…
Even if the functionality is not <span style=”color: #1d1c1d; font-family: Slack-Lato, Slack-Fractions, appleLogo, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; font-variant-ligatures: common-ligatures; background-color: #f8f8f8;”>available at the moment</span>, it should be possible to up WP : Dashboard > Settings > Reading and set this page as “Posts page” because this is how WP normally works. Unfortunately it doesn’t work, but there must be a way to restore WP’s default operation</p>
<p style=”margin-bottom: 0cm;”>When I do that, even my “My news” page is displayed with the default template (I think is default template).</p>
<p style=”margin-bottom: 0cm;”>There must be a way to restore WP’s default behaviour, perhaps via a fix, while waiting for a future version.</p>
<p style=”margin-bottom: 0cm;”>Thanks in advance and have a very wonderful day</p>

November 6, 2023 at 1:54 pm #470327makai93ParticipantIt’s a shame that this option isn’t implemented, especially as it’s a basic function of wp, which was originally designed to create blogs…
Nevertheless, while waiting for this option to be available, wouldn’t it be possible to add a fix manually that would force the display to this personal page “if the requested page is ‘archive’ or ‘category’ or ‘blog’ => display ‘my personal page’ ?
Thank you and very nice sunny day
